Have You Ever Had Styes In Your Eyes?

Hi All, Have any of you ever had styes in your eyes? You knowm, those pimple type doobs that can be on teh lid or inside the eye or on the eyelashes even? I had one a long time ago and we compressed it and put eyedrops and all thsi stuff on but to no avail. It had to be cut out. Now I have another one. I'd rather have it cut off than have it be compressed and rubbed at with a hot cloth and so on, because the cutting off hurt a lot less than that. What do you all know about this topic?

I've never had sty, I don't think I ever get it because I wear prosthesis and all. But I did have a lot of eye infections, my eye would swell in the corner near my nose, and yes it does hurt like hell. I don't get them anymore, I guess I outgrew them.

I've never had them but sounds very painful. I know people who've had them though.

Nope, thankfully i've never had anything like. Is it inside your eyeball or inside the eyesocket? Either way it sounds painful.

I've had them, due to rubbing your eyes too much. I've had them and they're annoying as all hell. Fortunetely I was able to compress mine with no problems and no need to have them removed.
